The Oshawa & District Dart League, its members and the executive would like to thank everyone for their loyal support

of our tournament over the past 28 years.

The organizers of this event have come to the conclusion that now is the time to end this fabulous weekend of darts.

There is a lack of support locally in preparation and also in the hands-on operation of this event and the current people

that are responsible for running the tournament successfully are no longer available to do the planning and operate the tournament.

   It is with deep regret that we are seeing the demise of this event and all of us in the set up and running of the events will

miss the many friends and avid dart players that have supported us for many years.

Please check this site on a regular basis as we are looking for a someone to take up the challenge of continuing this tournament.

The assets of the Motor City Open are available for sale. 

We would like to sell these assets as a complete package ready to be used by the purchaser.   Should this type of sale not occur, then the sale of individual items will be considered. Following is a list of the assets that are available to be purchased:

  • 50 dart board stands complete with carpets, overhead florescent lights, wiring cables and chalk boards

  • Stage (16' X 16') with backdrop, stairs, 2 tables, toe line, board lighting and stage skirt

  • 78 green plastic chairs

  • 2 Commercial beer refrigerators, assorted plastic cooling containers and other miscellaneous bar supplies

  • Bracket Boards

  • Registration forms, pencils and other related items

  • Mailing list, Web Site, Tournament pre-planning agenda
